He recorded and released his debut album – “E Fado” - during a trip back home in 2018.

Now re-established in Texas, he has become among the most in-demand guitarists of his generation. The band, Wes Case and Co. is highly dynamic experience exploring the most intimate and energetic sides of jazz, drawing influence from Keith Jarrett, John Coltrane, classical, modern jazz and folk-afro influences from the south american diaspora. The repertoire includes a mix of jazz standards, originals, contemporary covers, and arrangements of classic American pop tunes in relevant modern improvisational styles (a technique jazz musicians used in the swing and bebop heyday).

An active educator, bandleader and sideman for various DFW projects, Wes can be found performing in traditional jazz settings, exploring his playful arrangements of classic pop tunes, and original modern jazz projects. He plays regularly with the Skinny Cooks, and has performed or shared the stage with Bernard Wright, RC Williams and Cleon Edwards(of Erykah Badu), Fred Hamilton, Shelley Carrol(Duke Ellington Orchestra), Bobby Sparks(RH Factor, Snarky Puppy), and Melvin Wells(of Cameo).
